Meals on Monday, a CSN Winner & Moses

Blueberry Sour Cream Pancakes

Well…this is my third week doing this meal plan thing, and it has made life so much less complicated.

Obviously, committing to telling you my menu plan each Monday is the first reason for success.
Printing the recipes when I make my menu takes away the pressure of hunting down a recipe.
And, keeping that binder full of the recipes that I’m using each week is my new favorite thing.
that kitchen….
love the white boarded walls…
love the colorful cookbooks displayed….

love the pots and pans, which makes it feel like a REAL kitchen where someone actually cooks…
love the open shelving…

I’m pretty sure I  haven’t shown you a kitchen in three weeks that doesn’t have open shelves.
can you tell what I’m dreaming about?

Amy from Playing Sublimely, along with her sister, is offering an in-depth bible study on the life of Moses.
They are going to be studying together each & every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
to give all of us something to look forward to.
One of the things that I haven’t been able to figure out how to do, since I started homeschooling,
is how to do a corporate bible study with other women.

God is faithful to teach me in my personal time with him,
but I greatly miss the fellowship & in-depth study.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 is true….two are better than one because they have a good return for their work.
I went over early this morning, with coffee in hand, and can’t think of a better way to start my day!
This study that they are doing is not an accident…it isn’t fluff.  It is going to be life changing for all who join.

Rene - Congrats to the winner! Tara, you don't know how much you just helped me by posting this meal plan. Have a great week.

Janie Fox - My woman's bible study starts back after our break this Wed. and I am so ready. I have missed those ladies, our time in the word and the connection we made with each other while praying for one another and delving into God's word.
Have a great week!

slip4 - Gorgeous kitchen! That green dish gave me a little shiver…one of my favorite colors.

mimi - Tara I'm so excited to have won your giveaway….. it's my first win! I'm loving all the menu suggestions too… sometimes I just get in a cooking rut and make the same old things over and over! Thanks again… I'll post about my purchase to let you know what I picked.

Tiffini - All those recipes look delish! The study looks interesting. I too…am hard pressed to find time to join a study group..I do most in depth stuff alone…this sounds good!

Farmgirl Paints - wish i was organized enough to follow along and do the same as you. the meals look wonderful. one of these days…

Tracey - I am coming on blueberry pancake night:)))))yum!

TheUnSoccerMom - I really need to get on the wagon w/ this meal plan.

Thanks for the link to the bible study. I'm needing something like this in my life. :o)

Jessica @ A Bushel and a Peck - I go on and off with meal planning, but when I do it, I love it, and when I don't, I curse myself. Seeing your post inspired me to post my meal plan today too!

LLH Designs - I was TOTALLY craving white bean chicken chili yesterday. Seeing it in your post today means this may be my week to make it! Too bad we aren't neighbors. I could make the chili, you could make one of the others, we'd double up and trade! Wouldn't that be fun?!?!

Happy Monday, sweet Tara!

Lisa - Those meals look YUM-my……and could everyone please email my husband and let him know how awesome open shelving is in the kitchen??? He's feeling a little stressed at the prospect of me tearing out cabinetry but that photo above has just rejuvenated my passion for them. Thanks! :)

Tessa - I need to start posting a weekly meal plan too. I get so many ideas reading yours. I love cooking but sometimes draw a blank on what to make. Your white bean chili is going on my list this week! Yum. Maybe the chicken piccata too.

Life with my sweeties - I tried the blueberry pancakes and they are wonderful!

Megan - I am cooking this week too! I took some time off with Craig being gone, but I am sick of eating junk! Your menu looks great – especially that BBQ!

p.s. I am going through your homeschool section! I am kicking the idea around as we have not been able to find a school that we like over there with an opening. I may email you with some questions….
