Meals on Monday

                 Source: here

Oh my goodness..how I love to see whites mixed with rich wood tones.
Look at that island.
I think if it were in my home, I’d name it.
…love the fresh flowers in the wire baskets.
…love the lemons being cut on the counter top.
…love the wood floor on a diagonal.
…love the molding above the door to the right.
…love the collection of glass jars beside the fridge.
Okay…here are the meals that I’m cooking this week.
You might wonder why I only list four meals when their are seven nights in a week.
My husband is away on Tuesday nights because that is the night that he gathers the college students.
I usually cook something very kid friendly & easy each Tuesday night.
{tacos, nachos, soup & sandwichs, etc…}
We eat dinner at our church every Wednesday night.
With five nights left to cook, I always count on us ordering in one of the weekend nights.
This schedule changes throughout the year
because our church only serves dinner about twenty weeks out of the year.
Breakfast for Dinner
Chicken Marsala served over angel hair pasta with salad
five bean chili with homemade cornbread

paige - looks so yummy!!
xo

hometown girl - awesome! some of our faves! i love cornbread!! have a great week!! susan

Janie Fox - Oh I love cornbread too! It all looks so great! I love that kitchen too.

Lissa - have a great week. Love that kitchen!

Susan - I love the idea of menu plans, but I've rarely stuck to one. Unfortunately, I have one monumentally picky eater at my place and end up altering whatever I'm making to suit him because the others will eat anything. Most of the time I play short order cook and make Mr. Picky something different than what everyone else is eating. I know I know…..
Now about your church serving dinner once a week. That is amazing. I wish our church would do something like that, however, with my luck, I would be called to head that whole thing up. We also have take away night. It's always on Friday. I might just have to borrow some of your ideas though.

All That Jazz - I completely agree with your assessment of that kitchen. The wood floors on the diagonal are really unique and so fun, who would have thunk?? ;-) I do love the white and wood combo, I forgot how earthy and industrial it is all at once!
