Friday Favorites

It’s been a busy week at our house. We’ve had a couple of basketball games, and I’ve continued to be on the mend from a nasty chest/head cold that has lasted longer than I thought possible.  Lets just say kleenex has been my closest friend this week.  I haven’t plugged into social media, and to be honest, the break has been nice.  Sometimes you just need to unplug.  The break was over when I realized I had neglected my email for as long as I could…272 emails needed to be dealt with pronto.

You wanna know what else I neglected other than my email?  Remember the menu plan I made for November?  I stunk it up bad this week.  All you really need to know is that we got take-out two nights and ate cereal the other nights.  Confession is good for the soul. The end.

Ready for Friday Favorites?  Cause I could keep chatting.

Okay.  I’m starting with some good reads from the week because well, I’m still figuring out wordpress, and sometimes it’s just easier to put all the words at the beginning.  Note to self:: pick up WordPress for Dummies.

I always like her words.

This friend of mine has had her life interrupted, and she’s living out the truth in this post like a champion.

This friend is strong and brave and rocking her 2nd of three major surgeries like a rockstar.

I want these boots.  Too bad the link doesn’t follow through to the actual website.  Do you know who makes them?

Ordering this t-shirt and this one.

I can’t believe that fall has almost come and gone.  I wish it could look like this just a little longer.  I’m hanging onto Thanksgiving and all things fall for one more week because this time next week we’ll be decking the halls. {falalalalalalalalala}

Y’all have a happy weekend.  Invite friends over or meet some for dinner, like we did tonight. Roast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate. And, for the love of all things wonderful, wear yoga pants as often as possible.

Meg knows how to color her world happy. Not everyone can do this. She has mastered it.

Dawn - I have a very similar pair of those boots (mine are UGGs, beautiful and comfotable) that I purchased at Marshall’s, and have seen online at 6pm.com (in several colors). Good luck! The ones in the link are gorgeous!
