Fall Tablescape

I loooooooove Fall and what it represents, don’t you?
~pumpkins, gourds, corn mazes, tractor rides, smores, fire pits, soups, sweaters, and scarves~
Oh! And leg warmers.  There will be leg warmers this year around here.

If I could do a toe-touch without landing myself in the ER, I’d do one.
I lit my first pumpkin spice candle on September 1st,
and I only waited that long because my friend Michele made me.
I’ve been nesting for the past couple of weeks, and it has been so much fun doing it in our new home.
Of course, my boys think I’ve reached the highest form of looney for getting excited about
indian corn, chevron pumpkins and an old coffee grain sack used as a table runner, but whatever.
I totally played copy cat to Melaine over at My Sweet Savannah on her chevron pumpkins.
Hers are one thousand times better than mine because she went professional and used tape,
while I painted mine free hand and didn’t even love them enough to give them a second coat.
The nerve I have.
I have high hopes of giving them a second coat and making them look a little more decent,
but lets just say none of us should hold our breath!
Anywho, if you want the skinny on how to do them, just visit the link to her blog up above.

Do you spy a certain little dog baby in my last picture?
I just noticed him!!  If he’s not in my arms, that’s where he loves to lay.

slip4 - Pretty table! And your chevrons look fine :)

Coastal Cottage Dreams - Beautiful tablescape

Kristin @ My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia - It is just gorgeous! Thanks for sharing.

Janie Fox - Fall is my favorite time of the year!
I love your table, the cow print..I have said it before….your house. We share alot of the same likes but I use a bit more color. I wish I lived closer. I think we could have some fun hitting the TJ’s and the fleas. I still don’t have any real pumpkins. I took the grands to the patch and by the time we loaded all the carseats and people we only had room for a few pumpkins for them! I am going to town tomorrow to get some pumpkins and some mums! I am probably to lazy to chevron them although, I wish someone would!!
I have a couple of fall candles burning and don;t tell your friend Michele but I play Christmas music year round. LOL
I just took your house tour. I adore your style!

Lisa @ Fern Creek Cottage - Wow Tara, it all looks so gorgeous!!! Your Indian corn and nuts in vases look way cool! I have been lighting my pumpkin spice candle too! It smells so yummy!!

Blondie's Journal - Your table is perfect for fall! I like the corn in the glass vases! Great idea! I saw Melaine’s post with the chevron pumpkins…I think you did a wonderful job! I don’t think I would have the patience to tape it first either! lol!

Cute pup!

Erin - Beautiful, Tara! We are having cool (almost cold!) fall weather here in Michigan, it was in the 30s this morning and only in the mid 50s this afternoon. We were just on the beach 2 weeks ago, it’s amazing how fast fall creeps up on you in the north!

Erin @ Rare & Beautiful Treasures

Laura from Top This Top That - I love how you put the corn in the glass cylinders. I would not have thought to do that. Lovely table. Enjoy!

ℳartina @ Northern Nesting - OMG I love your style, your dining room looks beautiful!! So glad I found you over at Common Ground. Your newest follower:)

Michelle @ Sweet Something Design - So beautiful! Love the indian corn, great job!

Linda@Coastal Charm - oh my goodness…I so LOVE your style. I have my pumpkin candle burning too:)

Laurel Stephens - Hello! I found you through Pinterest and am thrilled! Your blog is gorgeous, and I’m so looking forward to seeing and reading more.

Ashleyhodge - This is my first time to reply, and I just wanted to say how much I LOVE your Fall table! It’s very gorgeous and gives me much inspiration. I have the CL magazine and had FB messaged my artsy friends to see if they could paint me some pumpkins! Great idea! Amy from Texas

Cheryl - Tara,
Love your fall tablescape. Okay, asking for permission to swipe your idea with the indian corn. I love that idea in the glass cylinder. Its different and unexpected and I haven’t seen it anywhere else.
Your son’s comment made me laugh. Ah the men in our life, bless their hearts they don’t get the decor thing.
It’s the little things in life that makes us giddy…like indian corn. : )

Christy - I said recently that God knew what He was doing when He made all the seasons. I am always ready for each one and LOVE them all. Fall is so much fun! I love it for all the reasons you listed above, and I especially love snuggling by the fire pit and roasting marshmallows. mmmm! Your tablescape is great! I’m still lovin your chandi, by the way! Thanks for sharing!

Jackie at Roots and Wings - Ooh! I want to paint some chevron pumpkins!! Your table looks great, Tara! :)

Melaine Thompson - U r a rock star! I love your pumpkins, u were so sweet to mention me! Loving your fall look, makes me want to pull all mine out!

Bonnie Seay - LOVE the chevron pumpkins! Might have to copy :o)

kfredricksen - Tar, please share your dough bowl display. It looks cute in the background. I always struggle what to put in mine that won’t cost a small fortune.

Thanks Kim

Barbara - Beautiful love the painted pumpkins they look amazing!

Tricia - Ohhh, I love this! Everything in that room comes together so perfectly for a fall display…even the cow picture and the chandelier! A pumpkin spice candle sounds wonderful. My favorite scents are things that smell like food rather than something floral. I haven’t done one bit of fall decorating yet, but maybe I’ll try and whip something together today :)

LLH Designs - What a beautiful tall table! I don’t really do tablescapes…or change things out very much. My dining room table looks pretty sad right now. But at least I finally got all the junk cleared off the top so we can use it! It took me forEVER to unpack and put things away. Still working at it actually! Off to sort out the mess in my studio! xoxo!

Momma Hen - stunning!

Brandy~GreyLaneHome - Your table is so pretty. Love the cow art in the background too.

Kelly - LOVE it! So inspiring, makes me want to pull all the fall things out this weekend.

(I have almost burned up my entire pumpkin spice candle since Sept. 1… looks like I need to head to tankee candle this weekend, too!)

Tiffini - girl you did a beautiful job! You always do but I will have to say this is my favorite fall table so far!
Seriously!! If I didn’t do color I would copy YOU:)
Praying your week is ending well and you have a beautiful weekend ahead of you:)
pray for me will you? need to prioritize my life a little…just struggling:) I know you know:)

s.duane - tara, i love it, it’s so pretty!! hope you are well! susan

Starr - Tara! Your blog is as beautiful as you are! Loved hanging out with y’all last week crafting, and love that your home is as welcoming as it is gorgeous. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Lemonade Makin' Mama - Oh girl, I’ve missed a bunch of your sweet posts with taking last week off and all!!! Shoot… and I’m trying to comment on each one but blogger is being stinky and I can’t seem to do it…

But I LOVE fall too… and your puppy is adorable!! Love all your pics and cutesies.

Teresa@oursoutherncountryhomeandfarm - Hi, I found you thru Des, at Peeking thru the sunflowers. Love your style, and am following. Love the little dog, how sweet!
